Superior Directivity
Symmetrically aligned transducers ensure coherent wavefront projection and smooth response, providing consistent directional control in both horizontal and vertical orientation. The rotatable 100º x 70º waveguide produces precise, constant coverage. This special configuration allows for excellent control of directional characteristics, significantly increasing intelligibility in difficult acoustic environments.
With internal factory-tuned crossover presets for NXL 14-A, your sound system is show-ready in a few easy steps. Simply connect your speakers to the SUB AX, select the crossover preset from the user interface, and you are ready to go. FiRPHASE linear phase is extended to match the subwoofer phase down to the lowest frequencies.
Available in 15” and 18” models, SUB AX subwoofers deliver earth-shaking bass (up to 135 dB) with pristine clarity by combining powerful 2200-Watt Class-D amplifiers with high-power, long-excursion transducers. Featuring stereo crossovers, 8-band EQs, delays, factory-tuned crossover presets, a color touch panel, and remote control via Bluetooth®, the SUB AX lets you tailor your live sound effortlessly. Built for the road with a rugged design and cardioid configuration option, the SUB AX is the perfect solution for powerful, solid bass on the go.

Based on RCF Precision Transducers and wooden enclosures, the NXL Series is RCF’s most flexible active speaker system when high-power and pristine sound are required. The internal DSP has a wide range of protections for the transducers and includes special FiRPHASE and BMC processing to achieve a coherent sound distribution without phase distortion and deep, tight bass at any volume. With its streamlined design and small footprint, the NXL Series provides a powerful sound system when the space for speakers is limited.

The weatherproof enclosure is constructed from high-strength plywood and coated with robust, scratch-resistant polyurea paint. Its sleek look provides ultimate flexibility for tight spaces and small stages with extreme power and without blocking critical sightlines. A strong powder-coated metal grille protects the front, while an acoustically transparent foam backing inside the grille shields against dust and humidity.

With multiple rigging accessories and the unobtrusive form factor of the cabinet, NXL 14-A is suitable for a wide range of configurations including hanging, pole-, truss-, wall- or ceiling-mounting— at any angle in horizontal or vertical orientation. The rotatable waveguide (and rotatable logo) allows for perfect dispersion control at any position.
Rigging the speaker is quick and straightforward. The convenient Quick Fit socket at the top and bottom of the enclosure allows for rapid attachment to accessories. No matter the setup, you'll always find a spot for the NXL 14-A.
