HDL Series Is the Potent Ingredient Igniting Kemistry Nightclub

Kemistry, in South Florida‘s vibrant music scene, is on the cusp of a major transformation. Poised to become the hub for both touring national acts in electronic music and historical reunions, and events. The coastal community is a nurturing cultural phenomenon bringing various styles of music and experiences together with a sound explosion. 

The founding members of this new venue consist of three of Florida’s entertainment visionaries: Angel Candelaria previously owned Cash Only nightclub; Danny Colica founded Hypnotic Productions and was behind Kemistry's production; Pepe Vargas is a prominent figure in Florida's nightlife scene.

“In our world and electronic music, at every venue that I’ve been going to lately, the production has been subpar and underwhelming,” said Colica. “I knew that with Kemistry, I wanted our audiences to be immersed in the music experience. I want to feel the music. I want that bass to hit me in the chest.”

At the core of Kemistry’s immersive experience is its commitment to quality. With an astonishing 130,000 Watts of RCF audio power—boasting RCF HDL 50-A line arrays [2x8] and 12 RCF dual 18” SUB 9006-AS active subwoofers—the sound is more than just heard; it’s felt. After Antonio Tahan from Minihobby Florida professionally tuned the system, things quickly fell into place. “RCF’s reputation as a leading brand in professional audio equipment is known to promise clarity and depth that will give our audience a wave of sonic bliss,” adds Colica. 

Kemistry also set up an incredible stage monitor rig with ground stacks of [2x4] HDL 30's and [2] SUB 9004 subwoofers. “In the DJ world, with the increasing demand for superior quality ‘Texas Headphones’ monitoring systems, we decided to give our artists an HDL system to meet and exceed our artists expectations. We have always been happy with RCF; the systems give incredible clarity, superior SPL, tons of headroom, and sound pressure levels at low-frequencies that can literally take your breath away in this venue,” says Colica.

Patrons are captivated by a 4K custom video wall installation, state-of-the-art Chauvet Professional lighting fixtures, and a custom kinetic orb installation that completes the visual experience, ensuring that every beat is not only heard but also seen in a cascade of synchronized luminescence.

“Our venue may seem large, but it’s very intimate,” adds Candelaria. “No matter where you are in the club, you get to have a good sight line of the DJ, you’ll get to hear the deejay, and you’ll be close enough to feel like you’re part of the party.”
